December 7, 2019 10AM - 2PM - 7th Annual Winter Wonderland Carnival
The carnival will be held on the fields outside Southside Clubhouse and all proceeds go toward funding improvements to Fire Truck Park (The Southside Place Fire Truck Park fund is a 501(c)(3) organization.) Activities include carnival games, inflatables, a silent auction, a shopping bazaar, face painting, food and drinks, Santa, and a huge pile of snow - fun for the whole family! Come relax with your neighbors while you raise money for our beloved neighborhood park!
We need your help. There are many ways for you and your family to be involved, including being a family underwriter, being a corporate sponsor, volunteering, or joining us on December 7th!

Annual Toy Drive for the Harris County CAC - November 1 - December 8, 2019
The City of Southside Place Police and Fire departments will once again be collecting to support the Harris County Children's Assessment Center.
You may drop off your new, unwrapped toy or monetary donation at the Southside Place Police Department any time. There will also be a booth at the annual Southside Winter Wonderland Carnival to accept donations. Checks may be made payable to: The Children's Assessment Center.

Blood and Platelet Drive in Honor of Lt. Al Baker
Thank you again to everyone who came out to donate and for helping to make this day a success. There were 77 units of blood collect which will impact 196 lives. All proceeds were given directly to Lt. Baker and his family.
Annual Southside Place Progressive Dinner
Picnic in the Garden
On Sunday, March 24, neighbors gathered for a picnic in the garden with live classical music conducted by Rice University Shepherd School of Music. It was an enjoyable event for the whole family. Our neighbor, Tom Cross, brought his vision of a music venue in the garden to reality. Thank you Tom and thank you Southside Place USA for your sponsorship.
Annual Southside Place Easter Egg Hunt - Sunday, April 21, 2019 at 4PM
The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 4PM SHARP. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures from 3:30PM - 4:30PM.
7th Annual Spring Garden Party - Sunday, April 28, 2019
Please plan to attend the 7th Annual Southside Place Community Garden party on Sunday April 28 from 4:30 - 7:30 on the garden lot.
Join us for another fabulous outdoor party to benefit the garden. Music, food, drinks and fun for the whole family. DIY container planting! Open play Bocce ball and other games! Silent auction! Bring your checkbooks! $20 per adult, payable at the garden gate. Kids are free!

Dinner in the Park and Music on the Patio
6:00PM—8:00 PM
Hot dogs and Hamburgers. Visit with the members of the Police and Fire Departments, Parks (Summer Programs) and City Staff.
Movie will begin at dusk following dinner.
After dinner, stay and enjoy a family movie as we watch The Sandlot.
Movie will begin at dusk.
In the event of bad weather, the movie will be moved inside the clubhouse.
Annual Southside Place 4th of July Bike Parade and Pool Party
Despite the threat of flooding days before there were over 150 residents who joined the festivities from the parade to the pool on July 4th. Thank you to the Southside Place Police and Fire Departments and Parks and Rec staff for all their hard work making this day a success.
Southside Place 95th Birthday Party!
Around 200 residents came out on September 22 to celebrate the 95th birthday for the City of Southside Place. Thank you to the Civic Club for their hard work organizing the event and all who came out to make it enjoyable evening.

4th Annual Southside Place Color Dash
Over 150 runners turned out for our 4th Annual Southside Place Color Dash. Following the rainbow bath, runners were helped to clean up with the SSP Firetruck hoses on the field by the Clubhouse. All funds raised by the Color Dash go toward improving the Fire Truck Park facilities. The Southside Fire Truck Park Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization (Federal ID 76-0370125).
